Playlizt, the music dissemination platform created by the film producer Señor Z, celebrates a decade since its creation and celebrates it with the premiere of a new season, which is available on social networks, especially in YouTube. After two years of silence due to the pandemic, Playlizt started on February 14 the first broadcasts of 2022: a four-song session by the band We The Lion, which unlike the previous episodes this time has the collaboration of guest artists such as Nicole Favre, Marshall, Strike and Mexican singer Melissa Robles.The platform, committed to the dissemination of independent Peruvian music, has so far received more than one hundred bands, which have recorded live music sessions in top-notch quality standards. After these two years of silence, Playlizt returns to reinvent itself and continue to discover new music bands, those that were born and raised during the pandemic. In this new 2022 season, the project is preparing to continue supporting the local independent scene, preparing more sessions and more content. “In the long term, we plan to relaunch the Playlizt website and turn the platform into a means of comprehensive support for the music industry. Not only to musicians, but also to all actors who are involved in the music industry: management agencies, booking agencies, etc.” , says Horacio Palomino, producer in charge of the project.Playlizt appeared in 2012 as a response to the limited radio and television broadcasting of local alternative music bands. The project, born from this need, became a pioneering internet music platform in Peru, where you can find the best Peruvian bands in sessions recorded and produced by Señor Z. For ten years, Playlizt has been the place to see, listen to and discover Peruvian bands of the moment. “We feel that we have contributed with a grain of sand to build everything that we see that has been done so far on the local music scene,” concludes Horacio Palomino.The 2022 season began with four songs from We The Lion, new bands will soon be announced that will join the great repertoire of Playlizt, where Tourista, Laguna Pai, Rapper School, Mundaka, Rafo de la Cuba, Turbopotamos, Millions of colors, Lorena Blume, Chintatá, Barrio Calavera, Bareto, Gala Brie, Olaya Sound System have already been presented and many bands more.
